Windows 10 EOL Notification
Microsoft will end support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. After this date, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or support for Windows 10, which exposes your devices to security vulnerabilities and may result in network restrictions.
Your Options
1. Upgrade to Windows 11
Our IT team is currently assessing device compatibility and will contact you directly if your computer qualifies for the upgrade.
2. Replace with Windows 11 Compatible Device
If your hardware cannot be upgraded, you can arrange for a new device through the IT Service Catalog.
3. Request Exemption (Limited Circumstances)
Available only for specialized equipment that must remain on Windows 10. Approved devices will be isolated on the internal network with limited connectivity. Submit an IT request with proper justification.

A: IT has tested Windows 11 with all Whitehead-licensed software to ensure compatibility. This includes: Adobe Creative Cloud, DNASTAR Lasergene, EndNote, FileMaker, FlowJo, GraphPad Prism, MacVector, MATLAB, RStudio, and Zoom.
