Compensation Planning
This Job Aid covers Compensation Planning in Adaptive Planning which provide users with navigation tools that facilitate updates for the compensation budget and forecast:
- Validate Employee Roster Data.
- Modify Salary, FTE, Distribution %, Cost Center, Institutional Support, Start and End Date.
- Validate Compensation Planning Calculations (benefits rate, etc.)
- Update newly created positions data.
- Update information related to existing staff positions.
- Update Other employee compensation and benefits expenses such as severances, bonus, and other one-time payment.
Finance will oversee the revision of budget allocations for General Admin and Core Service departments. This includes updates to salary and benefits budgets covering various aspects such as existing employees, new hires, terminations, retirements, merit increases, bonuses, equity adjustments, severances, and other anticipated modifications in staff composition.
