Salary Obligation Amounts by Employee
This Job Aid describes an easy way to see the remaining salary obligation (i.e. commitment) amounts for an employee.
Salary Obligation Amounts by Employee
The steps in the above Job Aid show you how to find remaining salary and benefit obligations (commitments) by employee. There are many other capabilities for this technique.
Examples include:
- On the first screen, click on the little arrow next to an Actuals amount to see the amounts paid to each person so far this fiscal year for salaries and benefits.
- Click on any of the hyperlinked amounts to see the underlying transactions.
- Use this technique on other reports besides the R0151-4 series.
- When you view by Worker, there will likely be a blank line. This shows the obligations for purchase orders. This technique can be used to see purchase order obligations also.
- Instead of Worker, you can select Supplier to see obligations (or actuals) for each Supplier.
Please contact the Support Team (workday@wi.mit.edu) if you have questions or want more ideas on how this technique can be used to help with your other reporting needs.
