Instructions: Requisition - Split Worktags at Header Level
This document describes the process for entering multiple worktags as a requisition default which can be applied to lines on a requisition. There are two methods to do this. Either method prevents the need to enter splits on each line.
Method A: Requester enters Worktag splits
1. Create the requisition without adding worktag information.
Before submitting the requisition: At the bottom of the screen in the section for submission actions, click on the Related Actions icon to select Edit Requisition Defaults.
2. In the section for 'Default Worktags and Splits', select Use Default Splits.
Use the + button to add rows for the split. Add the desired Driver Worktags.
Click Apply to exit the screen and return to the Checkout screen.
3. Review the order to verify that the splits are applied to the goods/services lines.
4. Select Submit when finished to submit the requisition for approvals.
Method B: CCM Approver enters Worktag Splits
1. At the bottom of the screen in the section for reviewer actions, click on the Related Actions icon to select Edit Requisition Details.
2. Make the following changes:
- No Charge: select Select All
- Default Worktags and Splits: select Use Default Splits
- Use the + button to add rows for the split. Add the desired Driver Worktags.
3. After clicking Apply, the system will generate an Alert message to warn you about the action in the 'No Charge' section to select all lines. This is warning the approver that you are changing the existing Worktags (i.e., what the requester originally entered for Worktags).
Click Apply to exit the screen and return to the Checkout screen.
4. Review the order to verify that the splits are applied to the goods/services lines.
5. Select Approve. The process continues to the next step until it is complete.
