How to Run the ECC Auto Approval Process
This is for running the process after ALM's have certified all of their effort. The plan is to run this process on the 21st of each month automatically. The process below is for running the auto approval process manually.

Go to the Administration tab. Click three dots.
Go to Manage Global Settings.
Go to Employee Type and Period Administration (right side menu).
Click Effort (right side menu).
Click the magnifying glass on the right side of the “Monthly” line.
Verify you have the Period of Performance set to the month you are certifying. Verify today’s date is within the Certification Period.
Go to Institution Management (right side menu).
Click the magnifying glass on the right side of the top line. (In the “Action” column.)
The line now allows you to add data.
This is on Central Time!
Put a time for the process to run in the Email Schedule column. (Maybe one minute in the future.)
Click the Save button on the right side of the top lines. (In the “Action” column where the magnifying glass was.)
Go to the Executive Dashboard. It is the left-most choice in the top tool bar.
Select “Monthly” for the Employee Type.
The month that you ran the Auto Approve process for will have its status go from “Building” (black disk) to “Auto Approved” (green check). You may need to leave the Executive Dashboard and come back into it to see the change.
Effort Statements are now Auto Approved.
You can now run the External Audit Report as the Final Effort Report.
Print, sign, save, and give to Research Finance.
